For those that would like to further their education in the paranormal I have created this page of paranormal books and videos. Some of these are also just for fun like ghost stories books and some fictional items. I personally enjoy both. Anyway, I hope you find this page useful. These books are great for furthering your knowledge of the paranormal. I have read all these books myself and where actually the books that got my interest in the paranormal started. They're terrific for anyone who is looking for a wide span of paranormal information, just like this site;) I personally own the first two and plan on getting the other two in the future. What's great about these books is that they are well researched and easy to use.

One of my most favorite and most useful pieces of literature that I will refer to before any other is The Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Spirits by Rosemary Ellen Guiley. My 3rd Edition copy has over 500 pages back to back full of useful references to subjects such as ghosts, poltergeists, apparitions, demonology, necromancy, spirit photography, EVP, wandering ghosts and that's just the tip of the iceberg. The author Rosemary Ellen Guiley is a famous writer and expert in paranormal and other spiritual fields. She has appeared in Taps and sometimes guests on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. She has written 7 other Encyclopedias along with 41 books. This very handy book should be a part of anyones library who is either a paranormal researcher, a paranormal investigator, and or even just a serious fan of paranormal subjects. So far it's my most favorite book of them all.

Another book that I feel is a must to have is How to Hunt Ghosts by Joshua P. Warren. I used to borrow this book from the Library on many occasions until I finally decided that I had to have for my own. This great book of course gives you  all the basics on how to hunt ghosts as the title suggests, but it its much, much more than that. This book looks at ghost hunting and the paranormal from a scientific point of view and provides very interesting theories on how and why the spirit exists, and it also gives you valuable information on telekinesis, poltergeists, imprints, and more. This book isn't a very large one, only about a couple of hundred pages but that is because it is a no nonsense, strait to the point type of book that is incredibly informative and mind opening. I feel that this book is a very necessary guide for any serious ghost hunter.

These books below are also great book for anyone interested in the paranormal. I have to admit I do not own these books yet myself but I hope to get at least one of them this Christmas. I don't have a lot of extra money especially not in this ruff economy so I only add new books to my collection only once in a while. I am partial to the Idiots Guide to Ghosts and Hauntings. That was one of the first books I picked up when I began my interests in the paranormal. It is a wonderful guide for those that want an overall look at most paranormal subjects. You get a little taste of most paranormal subjects which gives you a base of knowledge to build on. The other book Handbook For the Amateur Paranormal Investigator or Ghost Hunter by Brian D. Parsons covers the subject of paranormal investigating very thoroughly. It goes over how to manage your investigating group, how to stay focused, and is sure to be useful to any potential or current paranormal investigating team.

Everyone loves a good ghost story. Especially when the stories are true.  You can find true ghost stories in these great books.

Here are some fun paranormal videos you might want to check out. The Ghostbusters movies and cartoons are real classics! I am a huge Ghostbuster fan. I own both movies and am impatiently waiting for the cartoon series to someday come on DVD. They have a few of episodes on DVDs like the one below but I would like to see the cartoon be brought on DVDs by seasons. Anyway check these out if you haven't all ready. Amazon usually has the very best prices. They haven't let me down yet!

If you are wondering what other paranormal items are out there you can use the search bar underneath. I recommend Amazon because their prices are decent. Hopefully you can find what you are looking for.
